As a publicly-funded organization, The Patachou Foundation is committed to sharing how our organization operates and its impact on our community. The majority of our funding comes from individuals, businesses, and granting organizations that are not associated with Won’t Stop Hospitality.

Patachou Foundation and won’t stop inc.

The Patachou Foundation was founded in 2013 by Martha Hoover, Won’t Stop Inc.’s Owner and President. Won’t Stop Inc. seeded the Foundation with an initial gift. As such, The Patachou Foundation shares DNA and ethos with Won’t Stop Inc.

The Patachou Foundation operates independently from Won’t Stop Inc. as a public charity 501(c)(3) under the direction of a board of directors. While the Foundation may receive services donated in-kind from Won’t Stop Inc. (such as technical, promotion, or fundraising assistance), The Patachou Foundation does not provide similar services for Won’t Stop Inc. When Won’t Stop Inc. or any for-profit business uses the resources of The Patachou Foundation (meeting room, for example) they are charged a FMV fee for use.

The Patachou Foundation contracts with Won’t Stop Inc. to provide HR services and for competitive benefits for our team. All agreements that involve Won’t Stop Hospitality comply with the Board of Director’s conflict of interest policy, have been examined by counsel for The Patachou Foundation, and are approved by the Board of Directors.

When Won’t Stop Inc. conducts in-location fundraisers for The Patachou Foundation, patron funds are given directly to The Patachou Foundation from a report run from the Point-of-Sale system. Accounting professionals at both organizations oversee these transactions. Won’t Stop Inc. does not receive a tax deduction for any patron gifts.


Do you make grants?

The Patachou Foundation is a direct service organization supported by the public. It does not make grants to other organizations.
